The Green Bottle Fee Model
Green Bottle Fee Model: This model lets you choose a fee that fits your real access to resources.
People’s financial lives vary for many reasons, income, debt, caregiving, health needs, and access to generational wealth. A single flat fee doesn’t land the same way for everyone, so this approach gives you room to choose what’s sustainable.
How it works
You pick one of three tiers: Redistribution, Standard, or Community Access.
Each tier has a clear fee. You choose the tier that feels true for your life. No proof or
explanation is ever required, and you can change tiers if your circumstances shift.
Why I use this model is because I want therapy to be accessible while keeping the practice stable and ethical. This model supports both. It honors the reality that financial access is uneven and allows people to receive care without added strain.
Redistribution Tier: This tier reflects the full published fee. It’s for clients with strong,
stable access to financial resources. Paying at this tier helps sustain the practice and
expands access for others.
Standard Tier: This tier reflects a 25% reduction. It’s for clients with stable income but
limited flexibility due to expenses, caregiving, or other responsibilities.
Community Access Tier: This tier reflects a 50% reduction. It’s for clients experiencing financial strain, high debt, limited access to generational wealth, or significant caregiving burdens.
Additional Information
Phone calls and report writing follow the fee of the tier you select and are prorated in 15-minute increments. Court appearances remain outside the Green Bottle model and are billed at the published rate of $3000/day. Clients choose their tier based on resource access, not current cash flow. No documentation or explanation is required.
