G.I.R.L.S (Girls in Real Life Situations)
Next Group Begins January 2021.
In our chaotic society, girls are often forced to grow up too quickly. As girls move from childhood to their teen years, they often find themselves navigating these turbulent years feeling alone in their struggles. Girls in Real Life Situations is a group designed to help girls feel empowered, gain self-awareness, develop positive coping skills, improve daily problem-solving skills, feel connected with other girls, and make healthy decisions as they grow.
G.I.R.L.S. provides opportunities for group members to share feelings, struggles, similarities, and serves as a sounding board for one another as they discuss and participate in a variety of activities dealing with problems common of all young women. This group is ideal for girls who are struggling through adolescence, girls who need self-confidence, girls who struggle with communicating with peers, and girls who want to bond on a deeper level.
G.I.R.L.S. meets online (via Zoom) Tuesdays from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Materials will be provided. Cost for this 12-week group is $420 ($35 per week). An intake will be required to make sure this group is appropriate for your child.
